Registration & Renewal

What is car registration renewal in Dubai?
Car registration renewal is the yearly process of renewing your vehicle's RTA registration so it stays legal to drive on Dubai roads. One Stop Auto Hub does it for you online, collecting and returning your car door to door.
How do I renew my car registration in Dubai?
With One Stop Auto Hub it's fully online: you tell us the service, we collect your vehicle from your home or office, complete the RTA renewal, and return the car with the new registration — no queues and no visits to a registration centre.
Can I renew my car registration without going to the RTA?
Yes. That's exactly what we do — you never have to visit an RTA centre or stand in a queue. We handle the whole registration process for you and bring the car back to your door.
What happens if my car registration expires in Dubai?
Driving with expired registration can lead to fines and your car being flagged, and you usually can't sell or transfer it until it's renewed. We can still collect your car and get the renewal sorted for you.
Can you handle new vehicle registration?
Yes, we handle new vehicle registration end to end. Our service charge starts from AED 599 and may vary with your location; the final price is shown before you book.
Do you do vehicle colour change registration?
Yes. If you've changed your car's colour, we officially update the registered colour on your vehicle records so your paperwork matches the car. Colour change registration is AED 499.
What is the car registration process in Dubai?
In short: your car needs valid insurance, it must pass the RTA technical test (if it's 3+ years old), any fines and Salik must be cleared, then the registration is renewed and you get an updated mulkiya. We do all of it for you — collect, test, clear, renew, return.
How long is car registration valid in Dubai?
Private car registration is renewed every year. There's a 30-day grace period after it expires, but driving on expired registration risks fines — so it's best to renew on time. We can handle it for you before it lapses.
Do I need insurance to renew my car registration?
Yes — valid insurance is required before the RTA will renew your registration. If your insurance has lapsed, we'll guide you. The car also needs to pass its test (if due) and have any fines cleared first.

Passing & Inspection

Does my car need passing (testing) before renewal?
In most cases cars beyond a certain age need to pass an RTA vehicle test before the registration can be renewed. We arrange the passing and the renewal together, so it's all handled in one booking.
What is vehicle passing in Dubai?
Passing is the official RTA vehicle inspection that checks your car is roadworthy. We take your car to an authorised centre for its passing and handle everything, including renewal, registration or export passing depending on what you need.
What is a pre-purchase car inspection and do you provide it?
A pre-purchase inspection takes the car you want to buy to an RTA-authorised centre for a full comprehensive check, and you get the official report before you buy. It costs AED 1,499 including the comprehensive passing fees.
What is CCM (chassis) passing and when do I need it?
CCM stands for Chassis Checking Machine — an RTA-certified chassis inspection. It's often required for used cars or cars repaired after an accident before registration, transfer or sale. CCM passing is AED 1,499 including the passing fees.
What is export passing?
Export passing prepares a vehicle that is being exported out of the UAE, including the required inspection and paperwork. It's priced from AED 319 to AED 599 depending on your case and whether the car has number plates.
What is registration passing?
Registration passing covers the vehicle passing needed for registration, whether the car is already registered or not. It's priced from AED 319 to AED 599 depending on your situation and location.
What is renewal passing?
Renewal passing is when you only need the passing (test) done for your renewal, without the full service. It starts at AED 319, subject to your location.
Where can I get my car passing done in Dubai near me?
Instead of finding a centre yourself, we bring the service to you — we collect your car, take it to an RTA-authorised passing centre anywhere in Dubai, and return it, so there's no 'near me' searching or driving involved.
What does CCM stand for / mean?
CCM stands for Chassis Checking Machine — a specialised RTA-approved inspection that checks a vehicle's chassis and structure. Some vehicles need it before they can be registered or passed. We handle CCM testing for you, door to door.

Typically your registration card (mulkiya), Emirates ID and driving licence copies. The exact documents are listed for each service on the booking page, and we confirm anything else after you book.
What is the fine for late car registration in Dubai?
After the 30-day grace period, late renewal carries RTA penalties, and driving on expired registration can add traffic fines. We recommend renewing before expiry — and we handle it door to door so you don't miss the date.
Can I renew my registration if I have unpaid fines?
No — outstanding traffic fines and Salik must be cleared before the RTA will renew your registration. We check your fines and help clear them as part of the service, so your renewal goes through smoothly.
How do I check my car's traffic fines in Dubai?
You can check through the RTA and Dubai Police channels, or we'll check for you — we review any fines on your vehicle and help settle them before renewal or ownership transfer.
What is Salik and do I need it cleared to renew?
Salik is Dubai's road-toll system. An unpaid Salik balance can block your registration renewal, so we check it and help settle it as part of the service.
